Ã÷ÐÇ°ËØÔ+ Award

Today’s employers are looking for candidates that can show they have skills beyond their degree.

is designed to give you recognition for non-academic activities during your time here at Ã÷ÐÇ°ËØÔ. Simply record what you do in three of four categories (Global+, Campus+, Wellbeing+, Professional+) to earn points. Collect enough points and you will receive a Bronze+, Silver+ or Gold+ Award to demonstrate to employers that you are a well-rounded candidate with skills beyond academia.

Theis a framework for new students to take on a unique challenge as part of a team and is designed to instil the attitudes, attributes and skills essential for employability. This programme will develop transferable skills benefiting your time at Ã÷ÐÇ°ËØÔ and easing the transition from education into employment. Ã÷ÐÇ°ËØÔ Summer Internship Programme (BSIP)

 The offers eligible students the opportunity to gain eight weeks relevant paid work experience over their first summer break. This is open to all eligible first year undergraduates, from any course. WP Professional Mentoring

 
is one of the Widening Participation (WP) schemes and initiatives delivered by the University's Widening Participation team. The programme has two strands of career-focused mentoring. Both strands draw on experienced professionals from private and public sector employers. Home UK Level 2 and 3 undergraduates from widening participation backgrounds and under-represented ethnic minorities are eligible to apply.
